Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur officially announced that Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus has officially joined the team and the two sides have signed a long-term contract.

The former West Ham United midfielder has won widespread attention with his outstanding performance at the London Stadium. Now he will continue to stay in London, but will change into the Tottenham jersey to usher in a new chapter in his career.

The 23-year-old Kudus has won the Eredivisie twice with Ajax and played in the Champions League group stage between 2020 and 2022, scoring four goals. During his two years at West Ham United, he became one of the most threatening offensive players in the Premier League with his active breakthroughs and creativity.

Kudus has come to Tottenham. In an interview, he said: "I am very excited to join Tottenham. I am a direct winger who likes to challenge the defense and create opportunities. My style is full of energy and I hope to bring some memorable moments to the fans."

"Even though football is a competitive sport, I still want to make the fans happy through the game. People spend money to come to the stadium, and I want them to go home with happiness and wonderful pictures."

Talking about the reason for joining Tottenham, Kudus mentioned: "I was attracted by the team's project and the coach's philosophy. He has trained many outstanding players and I look forward to further growth under him."

Kudus is full of confidence about representing Tottenham in the Champions League in the 2025-26 season: "The Champions League is the top stage. I have played several games for Ajax. Now I am ready to face it again and use my abilities to help the team go further."
